artist newsletter 🌺
April 🌻 2025
👋🏼 Hey everyone, here’s what’s new 💐
Things are pretty okay, I have a personal computer now at home and it’s being super helpful in getting more artist work done. The apartment is looking great and that’s amazing for my artwork. I’m getting a part time job soon so things are about the same but small changes here & there. It’s been a calm start to the new year in my personal life as I stay busy 🌎
Since I moved studio from Fire House, to my friend’s apartment, and now back to my home it can be difficult to get as much work done as I was accomplishing at Fire House. Having an artist studio in the same place I live is hard because there are other factors to consider.
My artwork is improving, I’m steadily getting more tools and technology to create 🐉 I’m presenting an artist talk soon for class and that will be a great opportunity to understand my inspirations, techniques, styles & goals 🍈
Upcoming Events 🌷
I continue to work with Fire House Nac, an art collective in Nacogdoches. We’re working on community events for 2025 and I’ll be vending at spots in town 🔥🏠 I’m also looking to vend in Lufkin more, and eventually a city before the end of the year
I’m selling artwork at The Cottage Restaurant and Bar usually every saturday; sometimes I’ll be at other events or I’ll take a day to be home. Expect to see social media posts on instagram, threads & facebook when I’m there 🍷 Their address is 122 n mouns st suite b, nacogdoches tx 75961
Nacogdoches Arts Collaborative is having an event on saturday April 26th. I’ll be there with another local artist, Wild Earth Studio 🌱 The address is 415 north street, nacogdoches tx 75961
The Blueberry Festival in June, I’ll be there too on Saturday June 14 2025. The event will be in downtown nacogdoches, expect me to be in front of Blue Eyed Coco’s Square on 412 east main st 🫐
New Artworks 🎨
This is a design I created recently; it’s going back to one of my first styles when I started creating artwork more frequently in 2021. I’m not sure what the title is, I’ll get back to that 🌺 I discovered that my motifs are mixed with people/faces, indigenous and Italian styles ☀️

🌴 new artwork I created using Illustrator & Photoshop 🌴
Something Cool 🥝
Did you know that in June 2022 I collaborated with Black Rainbow? I was selling artwork for Pride on the Square in Nacogdoches with Pineywoods Pride Coalition at the time. Black Rainbow is a charity organisation for first nations LGBTQIA+SB (sistergirl & brotherboy) individuals in the aboriginal torres strait islands. They work to improve the health of their communities 🖤 🌈
I discovered them online and their values aligned with myself as a social worker. I donated a portion of sales from my pride-themed prints to them in July 2022. It was great to practice my social work skills with my artwork; that is something I am enjoying immensely as I discover myself as a fine artist 🌻🌞 their facebook link is below, in 2025 they’re taking some time to reevaluate what they do and how they do it.
Joyful Noise ✨
Music has been a core inspiration to my artwork, here are some songs and artists I’ve been listening to recently that you could get into ♉ apple music & spotify links below
